My favourite films

Hey guys! Everyone loves a good film day but the most irritating thing is when you can't think of a film you want to watch... well here are my favourites to help you decide!

1) Lord of the rings.

This is one of my fave trilogy's ever, fantasy, amazing fight scenes and full of quotes you cannot help but repeat. These films have memes galore and as silly as it sounds I remember the first time I ever watched the films and fell in love. If you are a lover of game of thrones or any type of fantasy, these films are a must have for you.

2) Kingsman.

Bit of a different film to the one above but if you haven't seen this hilarious spy film you really need to! It never fails to make me laugh and I would seriously recommend it!

3) Pirates of the Caribbean

Another series of Orlando Bloom films, can you tell I am in love? These four films never ever get old. A hilarious film with lots of fighting, love and loveable characters, just how films should be! Plus there is a fifth one coming out in 2017 with Orland Bloom again! I cannot wait.

4) Enchanted Ella

This is by far my favourite version of Cinderella ever. It's completely different to other versions and has amazing songs throughout. It's funny and light for a film day!

5) Aladdin

This is probably my fave Disney film! I watched it back the other day and it really made me laugh. The music is fabulous and I just adore it.

6) Night at the Museum 2

I preferred the second one to the first one by far. It's hilarious and quotable, me and my sister can never get enough. Plus the Jonas brothers as cherubs? Yes please!

7) Freaky Friday

Love this film! It's such a classic and I just love the concept of living in someone else's body for a day!

Do you like these films? What are your favourites?
Lots of love

Tuesday Tuesday August

Hey guys! It's the last Tuesday of the month meaning its time for my monthly music post, where I run down the top ten charts and show you my own personal playlist! So lets look at the chart...

1) Don't be so hard on yourself- Jess Glynn
Regular readers of this know how much I adore Jess Glynn, she's seriously one of my favourite female singers at the moment and this song is no exception!

2) Marvin Gaye- Charlie Puth
I think Charlie has a really good voice and I am actually really liking this song, it's good fun

3) How Deep is your love- Calvin Harris
This isn't my favourite song to be honest it doesn't really spark anything in  me, probably unpopular opinion but I find it quite boring sorry!

4) Can't feel my face- The weekend
This song is growing on me, I think I need to listen to it more!

5) Intoxicated- Martin Sloveig
This isn't really my fave type of music, it's music that I'd dance to in a club but I wouldn't listen to outside of one.

6) Black Magic- Little Mix
I really like Little Mix and I am still enjoying this song!

7) Are you with me- Lost frequencies
Feels like this song has been around since the beginning of time! I love it though.

8) Shut up and dance- walk the moon
I love hearing this on the radio its such a feel good fun song!

9)Shine- Years and Years
Years and Years is growing on me, I honestly wasn't too sure when I heard the first song but I do really like this song!

10) Glitterball- Stigma ft Ella Henderson
It's nice to see Ella in the charts again! I can't believe she's my age it's mad... anyway this is a fun summer song I like it a lot!

My Playlist this month is super short, it's bizarre but I've not listened to much new music this month!
1) She keeps me warm- Mary Lambert
2) Young and Beautiful- Lana Del Ray
3) High by the beach- Lana Del Ray

I would seriously look out for high by the beach, it's going to be really popular this month!
You can find all my playlists here

Liebster award

Hey! I was nominated by the fabulous Lucy for the Liebster award and I thought I would do it as it has been ages since I have done one!

So the rules are I have to:
- link and thank the blogger who nominated me
- Post an image of the award
- answer the 11 questions I was asked
- link some blogs
- create 11 questions for those blogs
- Notify the bloggers

1) What made you start a blog?
I guess originally the reason I wanted one was to have something that was my own space on the internet, to say what I wanted to say. Later on, it more or less became because I wanted to help people. A lot of the time were are bombarded with ideas of how and what we must do/look like and I aim on this little blog to stop that.

2) What is your favourite film?
I am going to go for Enchanted Ella which me and my sister adore! We used to watch it all the time!

3) If you could live on one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
I want to say pizza just because it's my fave but I think something like eggs would be a good idea because they're so versatile you can eat them in different ways so it wouldn't get boring.

4) What is your favourite place on earth?
Has to be my own bedroom! I love chilling out in my bedroom or sleeping!

5) What is the thing you love most about yourself?
Probably the fact that I keep going no matter what. Even through disappointments and let downs and obsticals I keep trying and don't give up.

6) If there was one thing you could change about the world what would it be?
I think stopping natural disasters would be a good one. Things like earthquakes and floods.

7) What is your biggest fear?
Besides what I am going to do for my entire life? Probably heights! I am terrified of them, I get tingly palms just looking down the stairs!

8) What are your favourite tv programs at the moment?
The one and only great British bake off! If you read my food and recipe blog you guys know how much I adore baking!

9) Who is the person you trust the most?
Probably my best friend

10) If you could switch bodies with a celebrity who would it be?
This is hard, I don't know maybe Jonny Depp? I bet he has a cool life

11) What is your ideal day?
Okay so I think my "ideal day" is pretty simplistic. I wake up and have a bowl of my fave porridge maybe with a banana or apple and cinnamon. Then I head to the gym and work our for an hour or so and then either: go home, read, blog, bake or cook and relax , or go to my boyfriends house and go out with him for the day to a park maybe or go out for our dinner or an afternoon tea, or go to my friends and have a chilled our day eating lots of food and watching TV!

Okay so I nominate  Adele  , Sarah  and Aabgeen

And my questions are:
1) What is your fave piercing?
2) How do you picture yourself in ten years time?
3) What is your favourite type of fast food?
4) What is the scariest thing you have ever done?
5)  Do you dream? Do you remember them or forget them straight away? If you remember them what is your most vivid dream?
6) Who is your favourite blogger?
7) If you were stuck in a lift with someone, which celeb would you choose?
8) What book have you read recently that you would recommend? Why?
9) Where would your dream holiday be?
10) Do you like musicals? Which one is your fave?
11) Which song would be your personal anthem?

Hope you enjoy!
Lots of love

My everyday Make-up Routine

Hey guys! Today I wanted to show you my everyday makeup routine. This is my typical routine that I used for school. Because I am so used to it, it takes me no time at all and I can do it under five minuets when I am in a rush for the bus!

First of all, I apply my foundation on with my real techniques face brush. As I have said before, I use Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation and I have done a full review of this before.

I then use my Benefit erase paste concealer to cover any spots and dark circles under my eyes.
Then I take my Rimmel clear complexion powder and use that to get rid of shine and "matteify" my face

Once my base is on, I start on the eyes. Today I have decided to use on of my everyday smoky pallets by NYC. It has instructions on on how to use it and I follow these.
I then apply eyeliner. The eyeliner I am using everyday at the moment is scandal eyes by Rimmel

I then use my mascara which is "The colossal go extreme" by Maybeline
And then to line by bottom eyelid I use a eye-liner pencil which is Rimmels special eyes
For lips, I ex foliate them using Lush's Bubblegum lip scrub and then apply a lip-stick or a lip-gloss. Today I have gone with one of my favourite everyday pink nude colour which is in the rouge addition by Boujois in the colour Rose Tweed.

And that's me done!
Hope you enjoyed this!
Lots of love,

There's only so far you can help

Hey guys! Today's little thought is on the idea that there is only so far we can help people. As friends, or as people who care a lot about other peoples happiness, it can be easy to convince yourself that you can take on other peoples problems and completely and utterly help them. We believe that because we want to, we want to believe that we are all professionals and can help our friends or people we meet on the internet. As you know as part of my blogging, I tackle a lot of issues such as mental health disorders and body image and such and I often talk on-line to people with these issues. I think that when I first started out, I wanted to believe I could help everyone, but this isn't true. We can try to make people feel better and help them as much as possible and not give up, but at the end of the day the people you are talking to have to want to help themselves too.

This isn't me telling you not to help your friends or anything like that, but to be a bit more cautious. Remember that it is not healthy for yourself to take full responsibility for a persons problems. It is not healthy for you to feel as though someone completely relies on you. You are human and at some point you will have problems too and it is not going to help you or anyone else by making someone become dependent on you. If you "break down" it ends up being worse for both of you.

I was in a situation once where someone did this, they relied on me and only me to tell their problems too and to help them, and they were series problems too. This was way to too much and after a while I felt suffocated and sad and felt as though I had too much responsibility. It's not fair on you to take on so much weight.

Of course if your friends are sad, it is your job to make them feel better to help them in any way you can but remember that it's not always possible to completely help them and solve all their problems. People have to help themselves too and while being there for them and giving them as much advice as possible is one of the most important things, don't let yourself become their only friend or hope. Make sure that if problems are serious, they are talking to others and offer guidance to councillors. Remember you are human too and will suffer from your own problems.

Empties #1

Hey guys! I hope results day went well if you had it yesterday like me! I will be talking about my results day tomorrow over on my summer blog at www.littlesummeradventures.blogspot.co.uk if you are wondering how I got on in more detail! I will say however that come September I will be studying Psychology at Nottingham Trent university!

Anyway, today I wanted to do something that I haven't done before and that is my empties! I will try and do more of these although I don't know how often! I have been collecting them inside a bag for a while so lets have a look inside...

1) Ginger anti dandruff shampoo by the body shop
I actually finished this this morning and it is the first bottle I have used. Like most people I have mild dandruff and I adore this shampoo to keep my scalp flake free, I would definitely recommend!

2) Sheer Blonde conditioner by John Frieda

I did a whole review about a year ago probably on this set. I always get the shampoo and conditioner as I am so in love with it. I have got it again of course and my hair is looking lighter than ever!

3) Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation in shade cool ivory by Benefit

I have also reviewed this in depth and it is also one of my go to products. I wear this everyday and is probably my holy grail product.

4) Dirty Springwash by Lush

This is the first time I have used this product and I really liked it despite it being completely different to what I usually go for shower gel wise which is normally very sweet! Lush products are expensive and this isn't a staple piece of mine so I may not repurchase. I would recommend if you go to the gym or do exercise, it's minty flavour is so refreshing.

5) Freederm spot cream

I really liked this product! I think it is about five pounds and although at the moment I am simply using germalene for my spots (great tip btw!) I may buy this again.

5) Just Pink Perfume by Next

I got this for Christmas from my boyfriends Nana and granddad and I wore it everyday until it ran out! It had a nice smell that lasted for a really long time. I don't know if I will repurchase because I like to change my perfumes all the time and I rarely buy the same bottle twice but I would recommend!

Have you used any of these? What did you think?
Also tell me how you all did in your A levels!
Lots of Love

If you don't do it...someone else will

Hey guys! Todays little thought is based around something which came to me the other day while I was in a bookshop. I am constantly coming up with new ideas for novels, I love to create scenarios and characters and plan out novel ideas- ideas that I will probably never write. While I was in the shop, I picked up a book and read the blurb of a book which was very similar to an idea I had once had, almost identical. Which really got me thinking about how if you don't go for something, someone else will.

This happens in cases such as jobs too, if you don't go for that job or aren't as persistent, someone else will and they will get the job you wanted. I think life is too short to simply sit back and hope things come your way, nine times out of ten you have to peruse something you want to. At the end of the day, it's your loss if you don't.

It goes with the idea of "get up and get it." There is little point in waiting or hanging around, if you have an idea or you want to do something, just do it before someone comes up with the same idea. In relationships too, all relationships can be worked on and if you don't show your partner respect and love, someone else will do and you will loose your relationship.

It has been seen in history many times, two people come up with similar ideas and yet we only remember one name. Always pioneer your ideas!

Lots of love

Holiday Haul

Hey guys! I am back after what seems like ages when in reality it has only been a week! This past week I have been on holiday! If you are interested in seeing what I got up to in the holiday itself, I have uploaded the first part of my holiday on my summer blog, www.littlesummeradventures.blogspot.co.uk and will upload the second part tomorrow. Today I thought I would show you some things I got on my holiday!

1) Earrings.
In a Debs in Cardiff, I spotted some jewellery that was half price and at two pounds each, I decided to get both of these!

2) Models own nail polish in the Diamond Luxe range shade Emerald green.
I have wanted this polish for ages! I already have one in this range and got this too in Cardiff!
3) Books
This first book I actually got the day before I went away. It's called Endgame:The Calling and it's apart of a new series i believe, I know there is a second one to it at least and I assume more are to be made. I am excited to read it and will perhaps do a review when I do!

These next books I got in Startford and I am so excited by them. I have wanted to read The Maze Runner series for ages and in the works I found the whole trilogy and the prequel for £9.99 together! Four books for ten pounds I was ecstatic.
4) Mug
In Stratford I bought this mug and coaster which says "Though she be but little she is fierce" which is a quote from a midsummers nights dream and which sums me up nicely I think!

5) Presents.
For Lucy I bought some fudge and a coaster and for my boyfriend I got him a mug which has all of Shakespeares insults on which I think will make him laugh!

7) A Teeshirt
When I was in Cardiff I went to the dr who experience and found this teeshirt for £4.99. As a massive dr who fan, how could I resist!

I hope you enjoyed seeing my haul!
Lots of Love
