A little note about friendship

Hey guys! Today's little thought is all about friends and friendships. I recently got in touch with an old friend of mine and it was lovely to see her after two or so years. Having friends is one of life's true blessings. While yes we fall out with them and they annoy us from time to time where would we be without the people that make us laugh and smile everyday? We all feel upset lonely angry and we all need someone to talk to about it, to cheer us up, to remind us that we're not as stuck or as down as we think we are. Who else is their to hold your bags as you tie your laces, to lend you a pound for the bus, to walk behind you and check if you've "leaked." (just a people with vagina's thing, sorry for those who are immure enough to find that gross.)

As you get older, friendships change, groups get smaller and you see who your real friends are. My closest friend has been by bestie since I was three and she's never left my side, through good times and bad times and we've seen each other nearly everyday for six years. Sometimes though you don't see friends that much and let this post serve as a reminder to you to keep in touch with old friends, and to send someone you haven't seen for a while a text asking to meet up sometime.

We also often take our friends for granted. We forget how much they mean to us and how much they care and look after us when we're down and we never take time to say thanks. So send another text, this one to your best friend, the friend whose always there for you and tell them how much they mean to you. Or if you want to be even more sentimental, bake them cupcakes, buy them some of their favorite chocolate or make them a card, something which is totally random but you know will absolutely make their day.

I hope you do these to make yourself and someone else feel really good about themselves!
Lots of Love
Eleanor x
