Hey guys! Hope you are doing well!
I was recently contacted by Paperless post (https://www.paperlesspost.com/), an online card sending service if I would have a go on their site so of course I said yes because I was intrigued about it!
Paperless post is an online service whereby you can send adorable internet cards to your friends; They have a range of cards for all occasions and have professional looking invites too. They are the most gorgeous cards ever! They're so pretty and have designers including Kate Spade New York, Oscar de la Renta, Jonathan Adler and Rifle Paper co.
I have been sending some cards to all of my loved ones and they have honestly been so impressed with them too. I don't have any big occasions coming up but there is a super cute section called "just because" with some really pretty cards that can be sent at any time with an adorable message! And my mum especially has been loving me sending her cute cards.
I really like this because you're 100% helping towards sustainability with less paper and honestly, quality is not missed at all, in fact, I think the cards are nicer than any you see in shops! You also have full control over the card including the background design, fonts, messages and even the stamps too which is pretty cool. There is also space to put in your own photos too!
The website itself is really aesthetically pleasing and easy to get around too, and the cards send so fast so there's no waiting around or anything, they're sent and received really easily and you can send a beautiful card in a matter of seconds.
I honestly think this website would be really useful for a lot of people, especially for people wanting to make a little environmental change and for people who have accessibility problems who maybe find it difficult to actually buy a card and send it! As well if you're the type of person who forgets birthdays and anniversaries this would come in useful as you can send it on the day!
Overall I really like this website and I think it's a really cool way to send round invitations, birthday cards or just cute little just because cards to cheer someone up quickly!
Lots of love,
Eleanor x

Amsterdam 2018
Hey guys! Hope you are doing well! I am back from a bit of a blogging hiatus! Basically, after my last blog post, I went to Amsterdam for a week and then two days after I got back and went back to Uni to start my masters so I have been busy settling into my new flat! I thought I would talk about what I did in Amsterdam, just in case you are going soon and what some ideas!
Amsterdam is definitely one of the places to be at the moment, I feel like everyone is jetting off there! I had wanted to go for ages but I wasn't sure if I would have the chance, but me and my boyfriend fell in lucky and he managed to get some time off so we could go. We booked a jet 2 package deal and stayed for 4 nights, but our flight in was really early and our flight out was late so it felt like we got a full 5 days there too.
Monday:
Like I said, our flight was super early and we got to Leeds/Bradford airport at half 4 for our plane at 6:45. Because Amsterdam is an hour ahead, it was pretty early by the time we arrived! We caught our tram and the train to our hotel, (XO hotels park west) which luckily we were able to go to our room straight away at about half 10. I was pretty tired so I closed my eyes for a bit while we decided where to go for lunch. We bought a 4-day tram ticket which was only £22 euros which was so good considering we used the tram everywhere every day! We weren't 100% sure what to do on our first day so we decided we might as well just head for the red light district and headed for that museum. Which was definitely an experience! Here's a lovely picture of me there (you're welcome).
Afterwards, we sort of just walked around all around there and where the palace is and stuff and just got a feel for the city! I didn't take too many pics because I didn't bring my camera with me but I really enjoyed my first day there just exploring really! We did, however, stop for (apparently) hollands best chips which were, to be fair, pretty yummy!
After hours of walking, we made our way back to the hotel and genuinely fell asleep so early we were exhausted!
Tuesday:
On Tuesday we decided to visit Vondelpark which was really nice! We had a pretty lazy morning and then headed here in the afternoon with a little picnic and just walked around the park which is really big! It's really busy and full of people on bikes but I would recommend going there! It's really pretty too!
We then had a walk around where all of the museums are, the Rijksmuseum and Van Gough. We didn't go in any yet but we just had an explore of that park of Amsterdam which was really nice! We also took some pictures next to the famous I Amsterdam sign of course!
We later went back to the hotel and then went back out for tea in the evening! We went for burgers from Thrill Burgers which were pretty good.
Wednesday:
On Wednesday we went for pancakes for breakfast! We headed to Mook Pancakes which were absolutely amazing and if you're in Amsterdam I would seriously check them out! Then we headed to the Van Gough museum which I was really looking forward too (Luke less so). I really enjoyed it though! Next time I want to go to the Rijkes instead!
After spending even more time wandering around that area we headed back home to grab our coats for the ice bar! I really enjoyed the ice bar experience it was really fun! You pay about £18 euros but you get three drinks included and coats and gloves! You get one drink in the warm area and two in the actual ice bar. The drinks are pretty limited to beer and shots in the cold part but the shots are actually really delicious and I really enjoyed it!
Thursday:
When we woke up Thursday we tried really hard to get Anne Frank House tickets and we luckily managed! If you are going to Amsterdam and want to go you have to book them so far in advance! They let out a limited number on the day (all online btw you can only buy tickets on their website) but they go quite fast! We didn't realise this but luckily after trying for a few days, we managed to get them on our last full day! I really enjoyed the experience and I thought it was really moving and I would 100% recommend going.
For tea we went to Cannibale Royale right in the red light district which was amazing! The food there was so good and I would also recommend this place to eat it was delicious!
Firday:
On our last day in Amsterdam, we had no idea what to do! We had been really lucky with weather all week untill Friday when it rained pretty badly! We decided to go back to our favourite places and we actually went into the prostitution museum which was actually really interesting! It's a pretty good museum and I would recommend it if you're interested in that sort of thing! We also, of course, went back for some more lovely chips where we visited on Monday!
And that was basically our city break to Amsterdam! I hope you enjoyed this post! Have you been to any of these places?
Lots of love,

Recent Favourites
Hey guys! I hope you are doing well! I really wanted to write a favourite post because there are a few things I have been loving over the last few months! I haven't done a favourite post for ages actually so I hope you enjoy!
So the first thing I have been loving recently is using the thicker Babyliss curling wand (that I steal from my sister) to curl my hair with! I have recently cut my hair a bit shorter so I have been liking styling it with a middle parting and giving it a bit of curl!
The second thing I have been loving recently is the body shop shower gels! I am the type of person who spends like £1 max on whatever shower gel I can find in Sainsburys! But I have been loving getting some body-shop shower gels recently! Particularly mango, satsuma and argon oil are my fave scents!
Makeup Revolution have been absolutely killing it recently with their releases! I have three of their newer eyeshadow palettes and lipsticks and I have been loving all of them! The ones I have are the Carmi, Soph extra spice and Tammi palettes! I actually did a review of the Carmi Palette not so long ago that you can check out here. I have also been loving the lipsticks that Soph brought out too! I have cake and fudge and can't wait to get my hands on syrup! These have definitely been my favourite makeup purchases recently!
A shampoo I have been loving is the Garnier ultimate blends honey shampoo! The smell of this is absolutely gorgeous and so far it hasn't upset my scalp! It makes my hair lovely and soft and keeps it from looking greasy for ages!
Some fashion things I have been loving are my recent Pull and Bear orders! These gorgeous patterned trousers and these jeans with the roses on! I am not normally very adventurous with my bottoms, just opting for plain jeans or skirts but I fell in love with these and had to get them to up my wardrobe game!
I have also been loving watching a few things recently! I really enjoyed season 6 of Orange is the new black! If you know me you will know that oitnb is my all time fave show so I was so excited for season 6 to come out! I definitely really enjoyed it and I can't wait for the next season! Another thing I have been enjoying recently is Queer eye! This is such a nice watch that always makes me feel happy and warm inside but rarely fails to make me cry! Finally, I am a bit late but i have been really liking Friday night dinner to put on when I want something light to watch!
My favourite book recently was the Trouble with Goats and Sheep by Joanna Cannon. I read a book not so long ago that I really didn't like and it put me off reading for a bit! Which is really unlike me but I really struggled to get back into reading and this book was the perfect book to get back into reading with!
So they are the things I have been loving recently! Have you been liking any of these recently?
Lots of love,
Eleanor

France 2018
Hey guys! So as always when I come home from a holiday I like to show you guys some snaps and what I got up to! This year with my family I was lucky enough to go to France for 10 days. We went to the Vendee region, near the Loire valley and it was so lovely to be there and have a nice break!
So we actually drove to France rather than flying, so the first couple of days were just spend driving, getting the ferry, and then driving again so there wasn't too much to report really! After that, we actually spend the first three days at Puy De Fou which is actually a French historical theme park. It's pretty difficult to explain, but there are little shows on and things and it's really cool! We actually stumbled on it about 10 years ago on a different trip to France and we really wanted to go back so we finally got round to it! We actually stayed this time on the actual site and we stayed in the Renaissance part in this cool looking Tent. I'll show you guys some pics of the place we stayed and also a few from the shows so you can get a feel for what Puy de Fou actually is!
After a super busy 3 days we made our way to Saumur for the rest of our holiday. We were staying in a really gorgeous apartment right in the centre of Saumur and I loved it so much! It felt really authentically french to me if you know what I mean it I thought it was so pretty and cute! On the first day we actually just walked around Saumur. We were all really tired so we didn't want to do too much! I took loads of pictures while I was there (you can so some on my insta littlethoughtsfromlittlepeople) but I'll pop in some of my faves at day and at night!
While we were in Saumur we also spent a day looking around the Saumur Chateaux which was really pretty! You can see it in the above photo too in one of the night photos! We also spend a day going to a nearby Abbey where Eleanor of Aquitaine was buried which was really interesting too! And we spend another day going in and out of a few Troglodyte's including a wine cellar that gave out a lot of free samples of wine!
For our final full day, we travelled into Tours. This is a much bigger city that's about an hour away but still had a lot of history and a lot of beautiful buildings too!
So that was my holiday to France! I hope you enjoyed this post! Have you ever been to any of the places mentioned here?

A little Catch up post
Hey guys! Long time no see huh! It's been so long since I have blogged, well over a month which I am definitely not proud of! In fairness to me, since I posted my last post I have been so so busy! Today I am going to try my best to have a bit of a blogging day and write a few blog posts today to try and get up over the next couple of weeks (between binge-watching season 6 of OITNB of course).
L ots of love,
So! First of all, I really wanted to start with a catch-up post, a lot has happened since I did my last catch up post all the way back in January! First of all, the main thing is I finished my third year of university with a first class degree! I am so stoked and proud of myself not going to lie. If you remember my last catch up post I was talking about how I was applying for masters and I went for my interview for the clinical psychology masters BUT I didn't actually get in. They only took on 10 people and there were 100 people who applied. They said my interview went well and a was put on their reserve list and I moved on and got a place in the mental health and wellbeing masters instead. However, while I was on holiday I received a phone call to let me know that due to them getting more places and people dropping out I got a place on the clinical masters so I am so pleased about that too! It feels surreal that I am going to be on the masters that I really wanted after basically forgetting and assuming I'd never get onto it!
So after I pressed send on my last blog post over a month ago, I have been non-stop busy. I went down to Nottingham to have my graduation which was amazing! I had a really lovely day actually and I'll insert some pics here (just incase you weren't already bored of seeing my graduation pics everywhere). It kind of feels like a celebration of everything you've achieved so if you didn't know whether to go or not to yours I would really recommend going!
After grad I stayed in Nottingham for a while since we still had our tenancy going on our house and cleaned the house! We also had our grad ball too! That was a really good night and it was such a nice way to end third year!
After that, I only had one day to get packed and sorted out for my holiday! I am going to do a full post on this and talk about what we got up to but we stayed there for 10 days and it was so lovely!
So that is my catch up post! I hope you enjoyed this post!

Random Haul- Primark, New look, charity shops and more
Hey guys! Hope you are doing well! Over the past few weeks I've picked up a few different bits and pieces in different shops and I thought I would show you what I have got! It's a pretty random mix, a bit of everything really so I hope you enjoy!
Accessorize:
I find it really hard to find sunglasses that I actually like and I've been looking for the perfect pair of sunnies for a while! I finally found a pair that I really loved from Accessorize! These are pretty oversized and I love them! Plus for £10 they aren't too pricey either!
New look:
So many shops have had a lot of sales on recently and New look have such a good sale on! First of all, I picked up this soft yellow pull over. It's pretty lightweight so it's perfect for the summer evenings and I really like how it looks with shorts and jeans too. I am really obsessed with everything French at the moment so the french writing is a big love for me!
The second thing I picked up in the sale was this stripy teeshirt! It's just pretty plain but I like the French vibes! Plus it was only £3!
A week later I popped back into New Look and picked up a few extra things! I got another pair of sunnies for £5 which I really like and a new pair of shoes! These are flat black pointed toe shoes with a strap to stop my feet falling out! I got them mainly for my graduation to put on as the day goes on as they are smart but flat so should save my aching feet! But I think they'll look nice on holiday and just with a pair of jeans too in the summer. Unfortunately, they were not in the sale and were £16.
Books:
I picked up a couple of books too! Firstly How to be Parisian wherever you are which I have read already and really enjoyed! If you want a tongue in cheek easy read then I would recommend this! I also got Turtles all the way down which I am currently reading and when I finish this I'll get a blog post of it up!
Primark:
I picked up one thing from Primark! I was desperate to find a nice big floppy hat and I can't find any that I like! This was the best one I could find and it was only £5 but I am still keeping my eye open to see if I can find something else.
Charity shop:
I honestly don't really shop that often in charity shops but we were in one the other day and I saw these two goodies! It made me really want to start shopping in them more! Firstly I picked up this super cute shirt! Excuse the bad photo of it but it's really light and pretty and I honestly can't get enough. It was only £4 too and it's from Miss Selfridge originally.
The second thing I picked up I am head of heels with. It's a lovely red trench coat/mac thing! It's such a gorgeous length on me (normally trench coats are normally way too long for my tiny 4ft11 frame) and it was only £8 too! I am obsessed with it I love the way it flares out a little at the end too. It was from F&F originally. It's pretty lightweight so I think it will be nice for the autumn.
Superdrug:
I picked up the new Soph x Revolution eyeshadow palette! I only picked this up today so I am yet to give it a go but I am sure I will share my thoughts over on my insta or twitter!
CEX:
Me and my sister have recently been loving playing with our old DS! So I went in and got some new games for extremely cheap! I picked up 4 imagine games and a band game for our Wii.
So that is everything I have picked up in my little mixed haul! I hope you enjoyed this post.
Lots of love,
Eleanor x
