Happy Tunesday everyone! Before I get started I just wanted to say that this month is exam month so ill probably only do one post a week maybe even less than that I might only get one or two posts done this month but ill be returning June properly to get back into my usual stuff! Lets have a look at the chart this month!
1) Waves- Mr Probs
I actually never heard this song and just had a listen to it, there are two versions the remix and the original. The remix one is in the charts at the moment but I actually prefer the original more I think the original feels like it has more meaning but then the remix is really good too.
2)Hideaway- Kiesza
I watched Greg James (radio one dj) spoof before I watched and heard the actual one. It's always stuck in my head too. It can't just be me, La Roux much? its got a great video and a super catchy song, I think we'll be hearing loads more from this girl!
3)Nobody to love-Stigma
The beginning of the video sounds kind of weird and then it bursts into a really nice piano solo which kinda makes me want to learn it. I really love the beat in this song I'm always tapping my feet to it its really hard not too.
4)All of me-John Legend
After discovering this song last month I've been listening to it a lot this time. And I mean a lot, my sister learned it on the piano and so she's been playing it non stop all month and I haven't got bored of it yet. Such a beautiful song.
5)Take me home-Cash Cash
Omg i just listened to this and i didn't even realise the song was called this, I've been hearing this song so much this month and I didn't even know it was this song. Its such a summery dance around the room song, love it!
6)Calling all hearts- David cassidey ft jessie J and Robin thicke
I really dislike Robin Thicke because of blurred lines and the whole he's a complete asshole thing so I didnt really want to watch the video and as I suspected it seems he still needs girls dancing on him. Despite that the songs quite good but I think after a few times of hearing it ill get a little sick but we'll see.
7) Welcome to the Jungle- Neon Jungle
I love this song and Neon Jungle. I've been listening to it for ages I'm so glad it finally made top 10!
8)Touch- shift k3y
I like the chorus but I don't really like the verses I don't know I'm not into this kind of music really but the chorus has been stuck in my head a lot.
9) stay high- Tove Lo
I really liked the video for this how it was all taken from a girls perspective at partys and stuff I liked the message too that partying and drugs was making her happy momentarily but actually it wasn't making her happy at all, don;t think id like the song without the video though.
10)Happy-Pharell Williams
Does it need staying? Still hanging in their by a thread and guess what? I'm still not sick of it yet.
What I've been listening to this month:
Let it go- Idina Menzel
let me take a selfie- chain smokers
feelin myself- will i am
Im a freak- Enrique Inglasias (one to watch)
Waiting for superman- Draughty
17 crimes- afi
trying not to love you-nickleback
Night Light- Jessie ware
Ghost- Ella henderson (one to watch)
If you want to listen to these songs ive made a playlist of them so you can listen to them anytime: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQe1vVR4il2jYlEdLmMaEH8Ok6jqdvZ1r
Artist to watch
Ella Henderson. Last seen on x factor the 17 year old girl is back with her new single ghost which you defiantly need to listen to. Will she be the next x factor to chart star? I think so! Hopefully she'll follow in the likes of Leona Lewis and One direction and not in the footsteps of Leon Jackson!
Hopefully i'll see you a little in may and should be back at the end of May for tunesday! Love you lots lil music lovers!

We all have our burden to bear
Hey darlings! I did a similar post to this a while ago I think but since it's been ages since I really addressed this situation I thought I'd do another one with a similar message. When someone says "Burden to bear" I'm pretty sure an idea comes to your head about something which you consider to be your burden. Maybe exams or something you don't like about yourself or something you don't think you're as good as everyone else at. At times it kind of feels like you're alone it that too I think. I know when somethings getting me down it kind of over takes everything I do. Sometimes the burden is temporary for example exams or an interview but sometimes it's not to temporary and you can physically feel the weight of the burden moving from one day to the next. It's these type of burdens that make you feel like you're the only one in the entire world who has ever felt this crap. One of the most comforting things to remember is that everyone at one stage in their life has felt like the weight has become too much and someone somewhere has had the exact same problem as you. You are not alone. Even the most seemingly perfect people have their burdens too, they have things which will get them down and make them feel bad on a day to day basis. Everyone has something they wish they could change. Life's not about who "has it worse" because if a problem is big to you it's still a problem even if to someone else it would be minimal. For me I get anxious meeting new people but for some people thats no biggy. That doesn't make my problem any less of a problem so don't let anyone tell you and don't tell anyone that what they're upset about isn't big or isn't as bad as your problem, trust me they don't need that. Its easy to forget that so many of us go through similar problems and that makes us stronger somehow. It's also easy to forget the stuff we are good at. You want to have someones hair but they might want to have your talent in art and so we forget that actually there are things that we all dislike and like about ourselves. All of us have our burden to bear and that's okay, it's humane. I've never met anyone whose 100% happy with everything and I don't think we ever should be, because then we'd have nothing to strive towards. So remember that we all have something that we have to carry through life but in the end, it makes us stronger and builds us as a character.
Remember no matter what you're burden is, I have full believe that you can carry it.

Review- Sally hanson advanced hard as nails
Hey darlings! Today is a little review on a nail polish I started using a little while ago. My nails were super short and brittle and so I wanted a strengthener and this is the first thing mum brought back for me so I gave it ago. I used it as a base coat every time I painted my nails. The bottle is a super weird shape its round at the back, not that you can really tell from the picture:
However it really worked, smoothing my nails and my nails became stronger and longer which is exactly what I wanted from the product. It did really even out the ridges too which was a bonus. My only real concern with the product is that its really watery and runny, and it tells you to put 2-3 coats on which is really strange for such a watery product so I tended to go with just the one coat and that worked fine. I found that putting more coats on also got bubbles which is the worst in a nail polish. I never used it as a top coat but I've heard it keeps the colour really well and adds a nice shine so I really need to get round to trying it out. Altogether i give it 4/5 and I would buy again definitely!

Restricting your feelings
Hey lovelys! One thing i actually believe in so much it talking to other people about feelings. I think too many people keep worries and anxiety to themselves and don't tell people how they're feeling and it leads to really bad problems. You know the old saying, a problem shared is a problem halved and to some extent it really is. Some people are super secretive about their problems and feel like they can't talk to anyone about them but the thing is you can. Whether there is a friend you trust or a family member or a teacher or councilor there is always someone willing to listen to you and be able to come up with a solution. There was a problem I was keeping to myself for so long and I didn't want to tell anyone about it because I was worried they'd laugh because it isn't exactly an everyday problem and I guess it's a little embarrassing to some people however once I got a grip and realized my friends wouldn't judge me, I told my closest friends and they were totally cool. Like they didn't even care at all. I was so relieved I felt as if a massive weight had been taken off my shoulders and I was so much more relaxed about it. Telling people about problems has always been my motto, ever since I was about fourteen and I decided that all this keeping to myself business was making everything worse and from then on, whenever I'm worried or if somethings bothering me I'll tell that person what's up. Not in a beefy way of course but if someone is making me feel bad or a situation is really getting me down I'll say something because there is no point in me suffering in silence when a conflict could be resolved with a bit of communication and a heart to heart. If a problem is getting to you, take it from me, it is so much better to get it off your chest/ tell that person/ sort that thing out that sit there and worry yourself to death about it.

Foodie Fridays!
Hey guys! I want to introduce to you a new section on my blog which I'll probably only do like once every few months or so, but since I realised I talk about pretty much everything on this blog from beauty reviews and book reviews and music and my usual little posts to keep you guys going through the week I thought I might as well start a little food section! I made these raspberry brownies a few weeks ago and they were absolutely divine so imma share the recipe with you, the best part about them is they're totally low fat too which is awesome right!
Ingredients for Low fat Raspberry Brownies:
500ml sunflower oil and a lil extra for greasing
250g dark chocolate (chopped, I think just used dark choc chips here either is fine theyre gonna get melted anyway)
4 medium eggs
150g light muscovado sugar
1tsp vanilla extract
75g plain flour
1/2 tsp coco powder
handful of raspberrys!
Instructions:
-Preheat oven to 180 degrees and lightly geese a 8in square tin with baking parchment.
-Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. When melted and smooth lift the bowl off and leave to cool.
-Beat eggs, sugar vanilla, oil and a pinch of salt in a large bowl with an electric whisk (or normal whisk although it takes like forever and your hand aches) until pale and thick.
-Sift over flour baking and coco powder, add the cooled chocolate and fold together.
- scrape mixture into a tin and scatter over raspberries. Bake for 20-30 minuets or untill set (check by putting a skewer in and seeing if it comes out clean- if it does its done)
-Enjoy!!!!
See you next week!

Gay Marriage
Hey lovelys! One thing that has been written in my little book of blog posts I need to write for like forever is a post on gay rights and stigma, because of the policy saying gay people can now get married and all the controversy in Serbia about Gay right's I thought finally I'd get round to doing one! (Phew that was a long sentence, kinda forgot punctuation existed.) For starters I have literally no problem with any sexuality people want to have, whether you're gay, straight, bi, pan-sexual, asexual what ever you are you you go for it. I have lesbian and transgender friends so for me it's literally no big deal at all having had gay people around me all the time. I actually think homophobic and people who think that it's okay to make fun of different sexualities is disgusting and although people think it's "wrong" or "unnatural", the truth is there is nothing wrong and unnatural about falling in love (or even choosing not to fall in love with anyone.) Just because it's two males or two females doesn't make it any less natural. I also hate people who have a go at Christian's saying that they're all homophobic, I'm a Christian and I'm pretty sure you just heard me say that I literally have no problem with different sexualities. Sure, their are Christians who think its wrong, but then there are athiests who think it's wrong and Muslims and Buddists who disagree too so just blaming a certain group in society and thinking that they are all homophobic is kinda disgusting too. I was watching gogglebox and there is a Reverend on it and the program they were watching was to do with gay marriage and she was all for it and said something along the lines off "if we're going to take one verse in the bible literally we might as well take them all literally" and it's true like I don't think we can take it literally all the time and this is one of those times.
Anyway wanted to get that out of the way with it wasn't the main reason I wanted to make this post. I did however want to bring up the fact that 82 countries have anti homosexuality laws which actually shocked me. I think we're all pretty naive sometimes and unless we have actively googled (like me) or heard on the tv or radio how many countries have these laws in place you (like me) probably didn't realize it was that many. Sure you saw the news about anti homosexual propaganda in Russia and the gay pride being banned in Serbia but I know I didn't realize there were actually countries with laws in place, which seems silly I didn't know that I probably should have. I think there is something wrong when people can't just accept that people are in love. That's all it is folks. It's two people in love. Even animals can understand love. The fact that it is 2014 and people can't get their head around that some people are in love with someone of the same sex kinda sickens me a little. It's human rights. It's not like they're getting it on with slugs or something it's just people wanting to live together and if you can't get your head around that you need to have a look at yourself.
That was a bit of a rant actually I didn't even see it turning into such a rant when I vaguely planned it out huh! I should hopefully maybe see you Friday if not next week.
love you all and remember to live in harmony (deep ending to the post.)

Tunesday Tuesday
Hey my lil music lovers! technically it's the first of April today so I should have done this last Tuesday as that would have been the last Tuesday of the month but I didn't want to disrupt mental health awearness march so you'll get two this month! Anyways lets have a run down of the chart at the moment:
1) five seconds of summer- she looked so perfect
Literally just listened to this song, been putting it off because I didn't really want a one direction rip off which is what I was totally expecting and I'm not such a huge fan of those boy bands. But it's so catchy it's kind of impossible not to like and/or dance around to it so I actually might add it to my play list for April. Plus the videos hilarious and they're kinda beautiful.
2) Duke Dumont- I got U
I am so not with the whole abbreviation in names of titles like 'u' it makes me cringe a little, nevertheless the song is actually pretty good and the video makes me crave for a tropical holiday now
3)FAUL &wad ad vx pnau- Changes
This definitely isn't the sort of music I listen too unless it's on the radio but it's good music to have on in the background while working but i think it depends on what music you like really.4)Route 94-my love
Again this isn't really my type of music so I wouldn't listen to it really outside of the radio, you have to be into deep house music to like it.
5) John Legend-all of me
This is such a lovely song, so many people are going to be doing covers of this song and slightly ruin it I think but before that happens I actually love this song it's so sweet.
6)Pharrell Williams- happy
Still in the top ten this song just hasn't got old yet, absolutely still dancing about to it.
7)Martin Garrix&Jay Hardway-Wizard
This is such a dancey (it is a word) song, that beat drop though! love it.
8) Clean Bandit-rather be
So this song is still in the top ten from last month, still loving the vibes it has although not listened to it much this month actually.
9) Katy Perry-Dark horse
still in the charts from last month. Katy Perry has some serious girl power.
10)DVBBS&gorgeous-Tsunami
A really good club song, the kind of song you want to jump about to with about 100 strangers in a club.
My March Playlist:
Chloe Howl-Rumor (one to watch)
Vance Joy-Riptide
Christina Perry-human (one to watch)
Hard out here-Lily Allen
Marina and the diamonds- Bubblegum Bitch
Red hot chilli peppers- Californication
George Micheal- let her down easy (one to watch)
A great big world-say something
Ed Sheeran- I see fire
ELO-Mr Blue sky
Tom Odel-Hold me
My rising star of March!
Chloe Howl!
Howl was nominated for the BBC sound of 2014. Literally can't stop listening to her song Rumor I've had it on repeat on my play list this month. The 19 year old has had a soundtrack for kickass2 and she has such an amazing voice, and hair. Literally I want her hair. You all need to download her songs now before she goes all mainstream (jk of course) you do need to check her out thought my music fans because she's so talented and we will be seeing a lot more of her I think!
Love you all
